Cornwall Retail Skills is the sector group that represents the needs of the retail sector in Cornwall.

We are here to help any business that sells directly to the public.

We are here to facilitate conversations between businesses, support groups and training providers on behalf of our sector. Our steering group consists of retailers who are passionate about what they do and how the people and businesses within the retail sector develop. There is always room in this group for proactive retailers who have time to spare and are consistent in their support for our work. If you want to get involved, contact us and find out how you can play a part in the sectors development programs.

Cornwall Retail Skills is also here to help retailers and their employees access appropriate and useful training. We know that it is often difficult for those from the peripheries to get to centralised training centers, so we try to facilitate sessions and programmes on your doorstep. We can initiate bespoke programmes for individual companies or areas, and we can run workshops or seminars on anything from window design to cross selling. We find people to help you do what you do best, better.

Its a living, developing, concept that needs nurturing and developing by those people who work and operate in the sector. Currently its only a page, but we want it to develop and mature with the sector as you become aware of how important it is to proactively support shopping, training and retailing in Cornwall.
